Join the fun and have a chance to make your voice heard among youth with the same goal as you - to make a difference in your community.

The YNOT BWG is leading by example and is always welcoming new members from Bradford West Gwillimbury, ages 13-29. All members gain Community Service Hours.

Joining YNOT is the best way to create change if you have a project, an idea or a dream that you want to see achieved. This youth-led volunteer council plans and implements events, initiatives and fundraising for local youth, while gaining exposure to non-traditional forms of education.

With youth members participating regularly in their council meetings, they have successfully held youth events, including:

* Battle of the Bands

* Dances

* Political debates through municipal election periods

* Open-mic Nights

* Participated in charities, parades, workshops etc.

* Raised funds for a skatepark

* Environmental initiatives

* Coordinated ski trips, skating and local recreational activities

Your potential is endless!

This Council meets every Monday at 3:00pm at the BWG library.
